WHAT YOU GET TO DO

KNAPP is seeking a Trade Compliance Intern to support U.S. import compliance operations with a focus on recordkeeping, regulatory alignment, and data governance. This internship will provide hands-on experience in U.S. Customs (CBP) compliance and global supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of recordkeeping and data retention processes
• Review and organize import/export documentation in alignment with U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR Part 163)
• Assist in centralizing compliance data across systems and workflows
• Support IEEPA reporting and regulatory tracking activities
• Develop training materials for internal stakeholders (logistics, procurement, finance)
• Conduct data cleanup and documentation standardization initiatives
• Assist with CBP audit readiness efforts

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Currently pursuing a degree
• Interest in regulatory compliance, international logistics, or global trade
• Proficiency in Excel / data organization
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
