Tip Top Bakeries is searching for a motivated Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing team at our Bendigo site.

 

If you're eager to learn, enjoy working hands-on, and want to build a career in mechanical maintenance—this is your opportunity!

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with preventative maintenance to keep production equipment running smoothly
  • Support in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Help respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Work alongside experienced fitters on root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain maintenance logs and assist with record-keeping (including MEX systems)
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operations

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Interests in Fitting & Machining apprenticeship
  • Strong interest in mechanical maintenance and manufacturing
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment
