Your role

The Wearables Market Development Intern is responsible for supporting all activities related to developing and implementing market development strategies for Wearables in APAC. This includes project managing all activities using a 4P’s marketing approach with all banners, WHS and regional stakeholders as well as coordinating with corporate stakeholders and external partners and agencies. The role is ideal for a sharp, analytically-minded and strategic profile who can translate market and sales data into clear recommendations, anticipate risks and opportunities, and operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-growth category.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contributes to implementing the market development strategies in APAC, together with the GTM manager.
  • Manages the weekly cadence of communication and project management of all market development activities.
  • Provides guidance and support for sales teams in market.
  • Responsible for forecast and sales trend analysis of wearables in the region; builds and maintains forecasts, business cases and performance dashboards that turn sell-in and sell-out data into actionable recommendations.
  • Responsible for providing detailed analytics to corporate partners, synthesizing complex datasets into clear, executive-ready insights.
  • Responsible for partner and agency daily follow up of projects.
  • Supports the planning, readiness and tracking of new-market launches and partner-funded acceleration programs (milestones, KPIs and investment follow-up).
  • Monitors category and competitive dynamics, proactively flagging risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Actively contributes to the team sharing account insight, feedback and solutions to create a better experience internally and externally for all who interface with RW.
  • Be a responsible resource, inclusive of prompt and accurate reporting of retail results, trends and competitive information.
  • Attends as needed markets and corporate training events and partner meetings with META and/or others.
  • Acts as a key resource to the GTM Strategy team – Wearables and the management of Luxottica Group on any and all issues related to Market Dev.

 

Main requirements:

  • Master’s degree in business administration/marketing or a related field. Emphasis in project management and/or channel marketing will be considered a plus.
  • Nice to have: brief marketing or project management experience, preferably in the mobile industry (consumer tech or wearables a plus).
  • Project management skills and excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset — comfortable working with large datasets, forecasting and building business cases; turns numbers into decisions.
  • Sharp, strategic thinker able to structure ambiguous problems, see the big picture and prioritize what truly matters.
  • Intellectually curious, proactive and a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, international and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail, with the autonomy to drive projects end-to-end.

Salary Package

  • 950 Eur Gross per month
  • Meal Vouchers as per company guidelines
