As an IT Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful work, and develop valuable technical and professional skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and ultimately serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via IT ticketing system, Teams messaging, email, text, phone calls, or in-person requests.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and configure equipment such as laptops, smart TVs, tablets, printers, and other devices for end users.
  • Assist with physical infrastructure upgrades, including the installation of CAT6 cables and other network hardware.
  • Prioritize and resolve IT tickets in an effective and timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of IT systems, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Effective communication skills to assist users of varying technical abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation for travel within Coeur d’Alene and Eastern Washington.
  • Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure when necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Ability to assist users with Android and iOS devices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk between construction and office sites for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to work with arms raised above the head for extended periods (e.g., running cables or accessing mounted equipment).
  • Ability to work effectively and safely on ladders up to 15 feet high. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
