Davidson Homes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Acquisition Intern to support our Land Acquisition team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the full land acquisition process, from market research and site identification to financial analysis and due diligence activities.

The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and eager to learn about real estate development, homebuilding, and land investment strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with researching potential land acquisition opportunities and market trends.
  • Support the evaluation of prospective land sites through demographic, economic, and competitive market analysis.
  • Gather and organize due diligence materials, including zoning, utility, environmental, and entitlement information.
  • Help maintain land acquisition reports, databases, and tracking tools.
  • Assist with preparing presentations, site summaries, and executive review materials.
  • Conduct GIS mapping, aerial research, and property ownership investigations as needed.
  • Attend internal meetings and, when appropriate, site visits with acquisition and development teams.
  • Collaborate with Land Acquisition, Land Development, Finance, and Operations teams to better understand the homebuilding process.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Business, Construction, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
