A Day in the Life of an Application Group Intern

New Product Development (NPD)

  • Support on recipe development in line with approved project briefs
  • Coordination and execution during industrial trials, process validation, and related documentation
  • Support in documentations and activities for completion of technical acceptance approval requirements
  • Help prepare product specifications, process flows, and Manufacturing Dossiers
  • Support shelf‑life studies, HACCP, QMS activities, and key sensory attributes development
  • Assist with SAP-related activities, including material creation, material specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Collaborate with suppliers and Procurement in raw materials development

Product & Process Improvement

  • Support process optimization and line performance improvement initiatives
  • Participate in cost optimization and process efficiency projects
  • Support product launches, start‑ups, and post‑launch performance reviews

People & Knowledge Development

  • Participate in shop‑floor learning and continuous improvement activities
  • Support training sessions and best‑practice sharing initiatives within the factory

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology (preferred recent graduated)
  • Candidates must hold a valid UAE residence visa under their own sponsorship
  • Candidates must have valid medical insurance
  • driving license or a reliable means of transportation is preferred, as the factories are located in Jebel Ali / Dubai South, where public transport connectivity is limited
