About the Role

We are looking for intern(s) to join our Risk & Control Assurance team within the CISO office to gain hands-on experience in IT control reviews and cybersecurity assurance activities across the public healthcare sector. In this role, you will support the assessment of IT control design and effectiveness, while also contributing to organization-wide Social Engineering exercises to strengthen security awareness and resilience.

 

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

 

  • Support the review of IT control design and operating effectiveness, including understanding how controls are implemented across systems and processes
  • Assist in analyzing control processes and procedures, identifying potential gaps and areas for improvement
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders to clarify control design, implementation, and management practices
  • Support organization-wide Social Engineering exercises, including assisting in exercise design, coordination, and execution
  • Assist in data collection and analysis of exercise results to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and improvement areas
  • Support documentation and reporting activities, including drafting reports, summaries, and presentation materials

 

About You:

 

  • Undergraduate currently inYear 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity and IT security practices (e.g. systems, controls, risks)
  • Interest in risk, audit, and governance (GRC) within a cybersecurity context
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify gaps and interpret findings
  • Basic awareness of social engineering or human-related security risks is a plus
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to document clearly
  • Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven 
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
