Uni Internship Jan to July 2027 - NHG Digital Transformation - Automation internship

We are looking for intern(s) to support the following workstream in areas such as automation, AI, business analysis, and project delivery.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

Workstream 1: Digitalisation, Automation & AI

• Identify and solve operational challenges through automation and digital solutions
• Work with users to understand business processes and pain points
• Design, build, and test solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath (RPA), Excel macros or any approved AI tools & OGP Tech Stack
• Prototype and experiment with emerging technologies
• Support and maintain existing automation solutions
• Guide end-users on solution usage and maintenance
• Ensure solutions comply with security and governance standards

Workstream 2: Business Analysis & Project Delivery

• Support cluster-level and national healthcare IT projects
• Analyse usage data and trends (e.g., M365 analytics platforms)
• Gather user feedback and identify pain points & improvement opportunities
• Develop business cases and solution proposals
• Plan and execute user adoption programmes (training, roadshows, clinics)
• Support project coordination activities, including tracking progress and supporting execution of deliverables

Workstream 3:  Leadership & Mentorship (optional, will be together with either Workstream 1 or 2) 

• Support mentoring and guidance of junior interns
• Develop leadership and communication skills
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline
• Proactive and self-driven mindset, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies
• Basic understanding of data and analytics, with the ability to interpret data and derive insights
• Familiarity with coding, scripting, or digital tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic work setting

Interns will be based at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (90 Yishun Central Singapore 768828).
