About the Role:
Based in Seoul, this Intern, Creative Operations Intern role will be supporting design production for global content releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the production of visual assets for Viki’s global content library, including thumbnails, promotional artwork, and title treatments.
Create and adapt artwork across multiple formats and aspect ratios based on design templates, platform specifications, and branding guidelines.
Produce multilingual title treatments by resizing, refining, or recreating designs from master title artwork while maintaining visual consistency across regions and languages.
Ensure all assets comply with metadata safe zones, technical specifications, and quality standards for web, mobile, tablet, and TV platforms.
Support image retouching, compositing, and typography adjustments for dramas, movies, variety shows, and other entertainment content.
Manage and organize design files, including file naming, version control, exports, and asset uploads according to internal workflows.
Collaborate closely with Graphic Designers, Content Operations, Marketing, and external content partners to deliver assets on schedule.
Apply feedback accurately and efficiently during review cycles and maintain high attention to detail throughout production.
Track asset status and maintain documentation as required.
Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by Creative Operations or Content & Subtitle Operations teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for image editing, compositing, and layout design.
Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy for digital media.
Ability to follow design guidelines, technical specifications, and replicate visual styles with accuracy and consistency.
Experience with photo retouching and character compositing.
High attention to detail, particularly when working with multilingual assets and localized content.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
Interest in entertainment, streaming services, and digital content design trends.
English proficiency is a plus.
