About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in carrying out asset inspections along the North-South Expressway (Southern Region) based on the master inspection schedule and guidance from the Region Manager or Region Engineer
  • Support the monitoring, coordination, and documentation of maintenance and operation works under NMM operations
  • Assist in site supervision activities to ensure works are carried out according to technical specifications, quality standards, timelines, and contractual requirements
  • Support the Engineer/Manager in reviewing inspection findings and updating records in the TEMAN system
  • Assist in preparing inspection reports and related documentation for submission to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in third-party inspections and support the preparation of assessment reports when required
  • Assist in updating the NMM NOD database based on site inspections, assessments, and defect findings
  • Support the preparation of defect reports and submissions to clients
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) requirements in all assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Willing to work on-site and travel within the Southern Region when required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Eager to learn and gain exposure in highway maintenance, asset inspection, and infrastructure management
