Job Description:
- Market & Research Support: Assist in tracking global equity markets (HK/US/A-shares) and semiconductor/tech sectors; compile daily market summaries, thematic research data, and earnings release updates for the team.
- Investment Material Preparation: Draft and format client-ready presentation materials, investment proposals, and pitch books for equity-linked products and thematic equity baskets under the guidance of senior specialists.
- Data Scraper & Model Maintenance: Maintain and optimize internal databases, track quantitative stock-screening models, and handle ad-hoc financial data extraction via professional financial terminals.
- Lifecycle & Trade Support: Assist in monitoring corporate actions, tracking performance attributions of recommended equity portfolios, and coordinating operational workflows across internal middle-and-back offices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Penultimate or final year student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Quantitative Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline from a top-tier university.
- Experience: Prior internship experience in equity research, wealth management, or quantitative analysis is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of financial statements, corporate valuation concepts, and basic financial derivatives (e.g., options, equity-linked notes).
- Tools: High proficiency in Bloomberg terminal operations and advanced MS Excel (VBA/macros or Python programming skills for data processing are strong pluses).
- Language: Near-native fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English; ability to produce professional business documentation in both languages.
- Competencies: Highly detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of delivering accurate analytical work under tight deadlines.
