About the Role

Intern ‐ Merchandising

(Based at Pelawatta)

The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. It brings together broad expertise in fit, comfort, performance and aesthetics to serve leading global brands at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop new sample developments such as pre-production fit samples.
  • Identifying and ordering Raw materials including trims and fabrics required for sample development stages.
  • Maintain good relationships with external suppliers to make the delivery process smooth
  • Continuously following up internal and external teams to meet sample development deadlines.
  • SAP, customer PLM, One PLM systems and applications usage.
  • Maintaining accurate records of orders and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Identifying and processing new product sample requirements by using customer tech packs.
  • Monitoring inventory levels for sample development, forecasting demand and coordinating with PDC.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Graduate or Undergraduate in Marketing, Business management or relevant field
