What You Will Achieve

Main role responsibilities,

Develop, implement, and maintain waste segregation program at Buenos Aires plant. This program development and implementation will include:

  • Perform audits at site to identify different waste streams generated in the different areas
  • Develop and implement standards operative procedures and controls for different waste streams segregation, handling and transitory storage
  • Classify and define waste fates according Pfizer standards and local legal requirements
  • Identify, evaluate and implement waste reduction initiatives to reduce Waste score metric
  • Identify and evaluate new waste treatments technologies and suppliers
  • Evaluate site´s waste legal requirements compliance
  • Engage with local Pfizer stakeholders by developing waste segregation and reduction awareness materials and initiatives.Role is 100% presential at the site

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma
  • Active enrollment and completion of the second year in Environmental Engineering, Environmental science, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of environmental data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team
  • Intermediate English language skills

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Experience working in an office setting, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to various administrative tasks and environments
  • ISO14001 standard knowledge
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Any environmental certification is a plus
