Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions for lead acid battery paste mixing and pasting processes to meet product quality and production efficiency goals. This role involves applying specialized technical expertise to optimize paste formulation, mixing, and application on battery grids, resolve process challenges, and drive continuous improvements aligned with organizational objectives.

Product/Process Design & Development
· Lead and develop the design and optimization of battery manufacturing processes to ensure consistent battery performance.
· Translate product and production requirements into process parameters that meet quality and regulatory standards.
Analysis & Validation
· Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and rheological assessments of different battery material characteristics.
· Perform validation and troubleshooting of battery manufacturing processes to ensure reliability and product consistency.
Project Execution & Support
· Lead or support engineering projects involving installation, commissioning, and upgrades of battery manufacturing equipment.
· Provide technical assistance to production teams to resolve battery manufacturing issues.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and internal quality standards of the battery manufacturing processes.
· Document process parameters, changes, and prepare reports to support audits and regulatory inspections.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to improve battery manufacturing and application processes.
· Participate in design reviews and communicate technical findings to stakeholders and management.
Process Improvement & Innovation
· Identify opportunities to enhance battery manufacturing, improve consistency, and reduce waste.
· Recommend and implement best practices, advanced process controls, and new technologies in paste processing.
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain accurate technical documentation, batch records, and process change logs.
· Prepare presentations, progress reports, and technical summaries for management and client review.

Qualifications:
Students taking BS in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical fields.

Strong data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Willing to work in a plant-based environment and adapt to production demands
