About the Role
Company Description
- Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).
- In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, pushbelt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description
Products: Electrical Connectors for the Automotive Industry.
- Perform design calculations, including tolerance analysis and dimensional measurement (3D data).
- Apply engineering methodologies such as FMEA, DRBFM, DFMA, etc. to ensure robust product design.
- Support testing activities, including sample preparation, test setup, and execution.
- Assist in technical risk assessments, problem solving, customer approvals, and tooling release processes.
- Assist in developing and optimizing design solutions.
- Explore and apply AI and digital tools to improve design efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- Final-year student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (Preferred GPA 7.5 or above).
- Academic background includes relevant coursework, assignments, or mini-projects related to product development, design, simulation, or testing.
- Interest in innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Proficient in reading and writing English for daily communication and documentation.
- Available to work full-time for 4 to 6 months.
