Join GN as Student Assistant – Global Travel Management

Are you analytical, structured, and do you have ambitions for working within global travel management - supporting stakeholders, implementing new solutions, and helping shape the future of travel as part of a Global Indirect Procurement team? The Team You Will be Part of
Indirect Procurement consists of an international team of eleven colleagues, located in Denmark and the US, with one colleague focused in the Travel Category. We support and guide the organization in creating value, enable cross-functional and cross-divisional collaborations, manage spend, negotiate with vendors, and much more.
We are a team that have an open atmosphere, engaging discussions, and high ambitions, and we make sure to take the time to support each other and our stakeholders.
Your contribution is appriciated - the majority of your time will be spent on travel management. You will:
Support in the implementation of our new online travel portal
Assist Travel Management with global communication
Service and act as first-line support internal stakeholders on operational and ad-hoc requests related to travel activities
Maintain and update traveler profiles and user accounts in our online booking tool.
Support with system configuration (policy settings, preferred suppliers, etc.)
Help validate that negotiated rates are correctly loaded and visible.
Extract and prepare travel reports/KPIs (spend, compliance
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute with new ideas
Assist in developing new processes and policies
Collaborate with domestic and international colleagues
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
Are pursuing a relevant degree, ideally in Service Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management or similar
Have a professional interest in the travel industry - experience from the airline/hotel industry or perhaps from a Travel management company
Are service-minded, positive, helpful and comfortable communicating across cultures and all levels of the organization
Have solid Excel-based analytical skills with the ability to turn conclusions into key messages
Have good written, oral, and formal communication skills
Can manage multiple projects, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines
Have good analytical skills and work in a structured way
Are a team player who thrives collaborating with others, while also able to work independently and proactively
Are committed to accuracy and quality in your work
Have an international mindset with a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English

In GN, our Student Assistants typically work 15-20 hours a week. We value flexibility and will collaborate with you to ensure your working hours complement your studies.
You also have the possibility to join the GN Students Network. This expansive network connects students from various departments and frequently hosts events like Friday bars, student lunches, and other engaging social activities.
