Purpose
Join IDEMIA Public Security as an AI Governance, Privacy & Data Protection Apprentice for a 12 month apprenticeship, starting in September 2026, at our La Défense (Courbevoie) office.
You will support the AI Governance & Privacy Lead in implementing initiatives to ensure the company's compliance with AI governance, data protection, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Missions
Your responsibilities will focus on the AI Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As part of your role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
- Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of documentation related to data protection and the AI Act, including policies, procedures, guidance documents, and training materials.
- Coordinate stakeholders and monitor deliverables related to AI Act compliance as part of project management activities.
- Participate in risk assessments for products and projects, covering security, privacy, and fundamental rights.
- Support the delivery of training and awareness initiatives on security, data protection, and Responsible AI.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
- Conduct technology and regulatory watch to monitor emerging trends and legal developments.

Profile & Other Information
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with a specialization in Digital Law, AI Governance, or Data Privacy (legal background). A specialization in Compliance and/or Internal Audit is also considered.
- Strong interest in project coordination and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Curiosity and interest in technology, cybersecurity, auditing, risk assessment, and AI governance.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English/French.
