Description

In this internship, you’ll build practical skills through real-world exposure to technology deployment, user support, telehealth operations, and healthcare administration. You’ll help support the deployment, adoption, and maintenance of technology across key initiatives, while also developing an understanding of how digital tools can strengthen care delivery.   • Support the deployment, adoption, and maintenance of technology in collaboration with the Digital Facility Solutions and Digital Front Door/Telehealth teams
  • Assist with in-room technology use cases, including inventorying equipment and receiving materials from the loading dock
  • Help virtual nurses with TV and infotainment functionality
  • Assist vendors during onsite installation activities as needed
  • Support user support analysts with telehealth cart deployment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and issue identification related to telehealth technology
  • Research emerging telehealth technologies connected to the organization’s technology roadmap
  • Help establish a Digital Facility and Digital Front Door pipeline for talent acquisition and growth
  • Assist department staff with various duties related to operations and project-based assignments
  • Support the professional functions of the department as needed

In collaboration with the Digital Facility Solutions and Digital Front Door/Telehealth teams this position will help support the deployment, adoption and maintenance of technology. The intern will assist with the deployment of In Room Technology use cases in the form of inventorying equipment, receiving materials from the loading dock, and assisting virtual nurses with TV/Infotainment functionality.  This student may assist the vendor during onsite installation.  Additionally, the intern will assist user support analysts with telehealth cart deployment and troubleshooting issue identification. The intern may also serve in a capacity to research emerging telehealth technologies tied to the technology roadmap. This intern will establish a Digital Facility and Digital Front Door pipeline for talent acquisition and growth.



Requirements / Qualifications: 

 

  • Current college student with an interest in healthcare, healthcare administration, technology, or related field
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, good judgment, and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction from more experienced professional staff
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass a background check
