Who you are:

  • Must be enrolled in an Engineering co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.

  • Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.

  1. System modelling– 10% of time

    1. CYME system models for load flow and protection

  2. Engineering calculations – 40% of time

    1. Load checks

    2. Voltage drops

    3. Microgen

  3. Planning studies – 10% of time

    1. Small projects

    2. Coordination

  4. Project support – 25% of time

    1. Closeouts

    2. Supporting EAs and engineers on large projects

  5. General tasks – 15% of time
