About the Role

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Specialty Business Area / Specialty Medical Affairs Internship, 2027:

Education required:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, preference in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science, Public Health, Health Sciences, Medical Background or Science students with an interest in learning about Respiratory Chronic Diseases and Hepatology Business.

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English  

Internship period: January to June 2027

What will you do?

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in the delivery of Regional Specialty medical Affairs activities (key focus on Respiratory Chronic diseases and Hepatology) in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multidisciplinary environment. The intern will work under the supervision of Regional Specialty Medical Affairs Leads for execution of Specialty medical affairs strategy and drive patient outcomes. 

  • Assist Regional Specialty Medical Leads in identifying the unmet medical needs, treatment pathways, data gaps and stakeholder mapping (EEs/patient organisations) for upcoming indications and pipeline assets of GSK 

  • Support to drive medical education projects.  

  • Participate in EE discussions (e.g. Ad Boards, post congress EE touchpoints) and compile the insights into a meeting report.  

  • Conduct management monitoring of the regional medical affairs activities. 

  • Support day to day management tasks of regional medical lead and Head.

  • Support CL approval process.

  • Drive and confidence to trust your own judgment
