Join Maxis as an SCM Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting supply chain operations, reporting, process monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives. This role offers exposure to operational workflows, stakeholder collaboration, data reporting, and AI-enabled solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to improve business efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Smarto RMN Operations Support

  • Support daily Smarto RMN operational activities and monitoring tasks.

  • Assist in tracking performance metrics and resolving operational issues.

  • Ensure operational data is updated accurately and in a timely manner.

2. MCRF Operations Support

  • Support the team's daily MCRF-related activities and processes.

  • Assist in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with operational requirements.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support smooth execution of tasks.

3. Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and dashboards.

  • Consolidate and analyse data to support business reporting requirements.

  • Ensure data accuracy and provide insights to support decision-making.

4. Presentation & Documentation Support

  • Assist in preparing departmental presentation materials and management slides.

  • Support documentation of operational processes, project updates, and meeting outcomes.

  • Contribute to communication materials for internal stakeholders.

5. Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

  • Participate in team discussions, project meetings, and operational reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and operational excellence.

Value-Add Project

Depending on performance and capability, the intern may have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the SCM Smarto Chatbot, supporting the design, testing, enhancement, and implementation of an AI-powered solution aimed at improving operational efficiency and user experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in digital solutions, automation, AI, and business operations.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

  • Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and chatbot technologies.

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Exposure to automation, workflow tools, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience working on academic or personal technology projects.

Internship Duration

Starting August onwards, preferably 6 months or longer.
