About the Role

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Occupational Health Internship, 2027:   

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s degree preferably in a healthcare-related discipline e.g. Medicine, Public Health, Occupational Safety and Health, Health Promotion, Health Physiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics. Candidates from other backgrounds who have a keen interest in Occupational Health are also welcome to apply. 

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English 

Expected Start date: January to June 2027

What will you do?  

You will be involved in:   

  • Aligning with the Global Occupational Health (OH) strategy and supporting the management of workplace OH risks and opportunities at local and regional levels. 

  • Working with the Occupational Health Manager on the delivery of OH services at GSK Asia House. 

  • Assisting the Cluster OH Lead Physician in OH governance within Southeast Asia. 

  • Participating in Independent Business Monitoring (IBM) gap analysis & governance process of GSK Global OH Standards. 

  • Promoting strong collaboration and engagement with stakeholders (e.g., EHS, HR, business leaders) to deliver health and business solutions for occupational health challenges that enhance productivity, reduce presenteeism, and build resilience. 

  • Utilising GSK resources and relevant technology tools to drive efficient ways of working. 

  • Assisting in OH performance evaluation using data analytics. 

  • Updating on leading Occupational Health practices and notable workplace initiatives (both inside and outside GSK) that protect employee health. 

  • Strengthening of the thriving, healthy, and resilient Occupational Health culture. 

  • Creating communication content via digital channels, including newsletters, emails, and video messages. 

 Additional note: One must adhere to the local Performance with Choice policy for hybrid working — currently requiring presence at GSK Asia House a minimum of three days per week.

What are we looking for?

  • Related experience and/or interest in Occupational health 

  • Good insights into the healthcare industry would be an advantage  

  • Familiarity with statistical software and data management (e.g., Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP, or other data analytics software)  

  • Experience in project/event management  

  • Strong presentation, communication, and multimedia skills (such as Microsoft Office)  

  • Analytics driven, outcomes focused and impact oriented

  • Drive and confidence to trust your own judgment 

  • Great project management skills and the ability to prioritise
