JOB PURPOSE

 

We are looking for an intern to support the team in managing the product selection process, in collaboration with the Worldwide Retail Merchandising Manager for the category, ensuring alignment with the merchandising strategy across the product category and relevant geographical areas.

 

 

RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Supports the Worldwide Retail Merchandising Manager in choosing products for main and special orders, helping define quantities for the assigned region.
  • Works with the Country Retail Merchandising Manager to adapt the global product selection to local market needs.
  • Helps with sales budget planning for the category and region, together with the Planning and Finance teams.
  • Visits stores regularly to observe market trends, customer preferences, and competitors.
  • Tracks sales results to help keep the right product mix and display in stores.
  • Shares feedback from the market with the Worldwide Merchandising Manager to support future collections.
  • Works with the Visual Merchandising team to make sure products are well presented in stores and windows.
  • Takes part in setting up key stores when needed.
  • Helps present the collection to local teams and store staff, supporting the order process.
  • Assists in creating product training tools and shares knowledge with local merchandising and store teams.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

Master’s degree in economics or a related field

Interest in the luxury industry and product categories

Very Strong Knowledge of Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to work in team

Ability to work by objectives; result-oriented

Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Very good knowledge of the English language (CEFR C1)
