This position will be working in the Athlete Marketing division of the Athlete Management department at THE·TEAM. This group actively prospects paid opportunities/ partnerships for athletes that THE·TEAM represents. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting the Senior Vice President and broader Athlete Marketing team in all aspects of the endorsement process—from initial research and prospecting to pitch preparation and deal analysis. This internship offers a unique chance to learn the strategies and business operations behind athlete endorsements from both the athlete and brand perspectives.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with THE·TEAM and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.

What You'll Do

  • Support the SVP and staff of Talent Marketing on various athlete marketing initiatives
  • Conduct cold calls and outreach to potential brand partners
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for outreach and pitches
  • Research prospective clients, athletes, and brand categories
  • Track invoices and assist in administrative duties as needed
  • Participate in marketing strategy sessions and team calls
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demonstrate strong communication and initiative

What You'll Need

  • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and eligible to receive academic credit
  • Preferably majoring in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Interest in sports, marketing, endorsements, and athlete representation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with cold calling, marketing, or sales is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Highly detail-oriented and professional demeanor

  • This internship will run from September 9th, 2026 – December 11th, 2026.  
  • This position is open to anywhere within the United States.
