About the Role

 

 

Join our Team as a Controls and Automation Engineering Co-Op 

 

The Role: 

We’re seeking a motivated person to join our team for a 6-month co-op beginning Summer or Fall 2026! This position will offer a hands-on experience in our Controls Engineering Department, where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into our Digital Transformation projects including equipment system integrations, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twins. You’ll collaborate with Cross Functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, IT and Production, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!  

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ignition platform. 
  • Program PLCs using ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text to control various processes and machinery. 
  • Develop HMI/SCADA applications using Ignition platform for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineers, maintenance, and operations associates to integrate control systems with overall project requirements. 
  • Engage in future integration of Artificial Intelligence and Equipment Digital Twin applications. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. 
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical, Computer or Industrial Engineering. 
  • Experience in related positions involving computer integration, machine data management and PLC / Python programming. 
  • Availability for a six-month onsite co-op assignment at our Greene, NY facility.

Wage - $23.00 + per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
