About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is for Psychology Interns who will be trained at WCCHC for one training year. Interns will receive clinical experience and training, supervision, and didactics.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

1.    Conduct individual therapy, family, and couples therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Provide group therapy as opportunities occur throughout the year 

2.    Perform a minimum of 4 psychological testing batteries in one year 

3.    Perform clinical consultation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient care 

4.    Perform consultation and collaboration with relevant individuals involved in patient care such as case managers, school officials, and medical providers 

5.    Attend scheduled didactic trainings, individual, and group supervision  

6.    Perform other related duties as assigned  


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1.  Must be enrolled in an APA-Accredited doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and have completed all of the necessary requirements for Internship

2.  Current BLS/BCLS certification required. Needs to be approved following AHA guidelines
