What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Site Services Manager and Production Team to implement lean manufacturing to continually support the production process.
- Assist in production operations to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilising continuous improvement techniques
- Provide World Class Manufacturing techniques to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Support with raising Purchase orders and contacting Suppliers
- Assist in the sourcing of products and services
- Ensure compliance with suppliers and internal departments for all specifications and payment terms, ensuring all invoicing authorization and clarification issues are adequately managed
- Contribute to the 6s initiative to ensure that improvements are sustained and entrenched within the business
What you’ll need
- Mechanical or Electrical Degree of in final stages of completing
- Organized and proactive
- Strong IT and Excel skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Ability to work both with supplier and stakeholders effectively
- Enthusiastic to pursue procurement objectives
- Strong problem solving and data analysis
- Ability to work with highly technical staff productively, eliciting buy-in of business initiatives and compliance to procurement policies
- High Verbal & Written skills
