What you’ll be doing

• Working closely with the Site Services Manager and Production Team to implement lean manufacturing to continually support the production process.
• Assist in production operations to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilising continuous improvement techniques
• Provide World Class Manufacturing techniques to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Support with raising Purchase orders and contacting Suppliers
• Assist in the sourcing of products and services
• Ensure compliance with suppliers and internal departments for all specifications and payment terms, ensuring all invoicing authorization and clarification issues are adequately managed
• Contribute to the 6s initiative to ensure that improvements are sustained and entrenched within the business

 What you’ll need

• Mechanical or Electrical Degree of in final stages of completing
• Organized and proactive
• Strong IT and Excel skills
• Strong analytic skills
• Ability to work both with supplier and stakeholders effectively
• Enthusiastic to pursue procurement objectives
• Strong problem solving and data analysis
• Ability to work with highly technical staff productively, eliciting buy-in of business initiatives and compliance to procurement policies
• High Verbal & Written skills
