Hourly Pay Range: $16.90 - $18.90

Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns, and exclusive perks such as company outings, team-building activities, and access to film and media screenings.
Summary
Legendary is currently seeking a Physical Production Intern to support the studio’s television production team during an active production cycle. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the studio-side management of a large-scale international television series currently shooting overseas. The intern will also gain insight into the larger production process by assisting with an active writers’ room and learning how projects are evaluated for potential greenlight consideration by major streaming platforms. Working alongside the Physical Production team, the intern will gain a deeper understanding of television studio operations, including how productions are supported from the studio side and how cross-functional departments collaborate to bring a series from development through production and wrap.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking production documents for shows currently in production (ex: production reports, wrap reports, crew lists, etc.)
- Coordinate tracking grids for department organization (ex: union tracking for DGA, SAG,WGA)
- Research potential crew candidates (ex: costume designers, production designers, directors of photography, etc.)
- Research potential international soundstages
- Research international tax incentives
- Assist in managing calendars and meetings for the department execs
- Break down scripts by production elements (ex: cast, locations, props/vehicles, VFX, music, etc.)
- Collaborate with all Legendary Television departments and production crew members on various needs of the production
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Summer) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
- Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong interest in physical production and/or producing
- Knowledge of Legendary Television content
