About the Role

We are EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames and sunglasses. We bring together the expertise of two industry pioneers, one in advanced lens technologies and the other in the craftsmanship of iconic eyewear, creating a vertically integrated business that is uniquely positioned to address the world’s evolving vision needs. We craft exclusive eyewear brands Ray-Ban, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Persol, Costa and more, alongside esteemed licensed brands such as Tiffany & Co, Burberry, and CHANEL whilst our cutting-edge lenses Varilux and Transitions lead the industry in innovation. In Australia and New Zealand, we operate the iconic retail and eye care brands: Sunglass Hut, Oakley, OPSM, Ray-Ban and Laubman & Pank. Every day, EssilorLuxottica’s 190,000 employees in 150 countries work towards a common mission to help people see more and be more.

This role is responsible for planning and delivering high-impact local marketing initiatives across the OPSM, Laubman & Pank, EyeQ and Independent store networks throughout Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with retail teams, internal stakeholders and external partners, you'll drive local brand visibility, in-store traffic and commercial performance - with a particular focus on store openings, activations and turning around underperforming locations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver local marketing campaigns across store openings, activations and performance-led initiatives, ensuring alignment with national campaigns and broader business objectives.

  • Drive in-store traffic and awareness by partnering with operations, media agencies, printers, shopping centres and local communities to execute targeted, location-specific activity.

  • Support and partner with retail teams as the primary point of contact for local marketing, responding to store requests and ensuring stakeholders feel supported and informed.

  • Manage logistics, timelines and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, including briefing artwork, coordinating materials, and delivering activity on time and within budget.

  • Maintain brand consistency and local presence by overseeing local marketing materials, digital listings and store information across platforms such as Google My Business, retailer websites and shopping centre directories.

  • Track performance and manage budgets by collaborating on campaign analysis, maintaining purchase orders and cost logs, and identifying opportunities to optimise future local marketing activity.

About You

  • Proven experience in a local, retail or field marketing role, ideally within multi-site, franchised or store-based environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute localised marketing campaigns, including store openings, activations and promotional activity.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with retail teams, agencies and external partners, managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Strong project coordination and time management skills, with experience managing timelines, budgets, purchase orders and suppliers.

  • Hands-on experience maintaining local digital presence, including platforms such as Google My Business, online directories and local listings.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships and act as a trusted marketing partner to stores and internal teams.
