About the Role
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

The Revenue Management Department is responsible for optimising airline revenue by applying revenue management principles, airline economics and demand analysis to support pricing and inventory decisions. The team operates across defined functional areas and organisational structures, leveraging revenue management systems. By understanding market dynamics, customer demand and pricing fundamentals, the department drives data-led decisions that maximise revenue, improve forecast accuracy and enhance overall commercial performance.

 

About The Role 

 

This 8 weeks fixed internship program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to Revenue Management (RM) principles and practices at flydubai. The intern will be introduced to RM systems, processes, and team structure while developing critical problem-solving and analytical skills. The program offers hands-on experience across various RM functions, including inventory management, pricing, and forecasting, guided by experienced professionals.

 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Assist team members with ongoing tasks, projects, and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  •  Conduct basic research, data gathering, and analysis to support departmental objectives.
  •  Prepare, update, and maintain accurate documentation, reports, presentations, and trackers.
  •  Participate in meetings, training sessions, and briefings, and capture key actions or learnings when required.
  •  Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  •  Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to support smooth workflow.
  •  Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, time management, and a strong willingness to learn
  •  Maintain confidentiality and handle company information responsibly at all times.
  •  Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship outlining the department overview, key learnings, and any new ideas, improvement opportunities, or recommendations that could be considered for implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent a must.
  • Fluent in English
  • Systems Knowledge in Microsoft Office/365

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations
