Job Description:

Job Description: Media Content Creator – Videographer, looking for a candidate experienced in photography & videography to help create content for our social media channels. Can include: capturing photos at Mission Waco Programs & special events, highlight videos, program videos, interviews, tutorials, etc. 10-20 hours a week, flexible. Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Premier required. Knowledge of social media posting (primarily Facebook and Instagram) is required. MUST BE ELIGIBLE for FEDERAL WORK-STUDY. This is off-campus employment, so reliable transportation is important.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION - Serve alongside the Director of Communications to take photos and create videos for social media channels to promote Mission Waco. Can include going to a multitude of programs and creating content for several different facets of Mission Waco.

REQUIRED HARD SKILLS - Ability to make videos with a DSLR or 4K camera, and proficiency in editing with Canva and/or Adobe Premier. Social Media knowledge preferred.

REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS: Flexible, good attitude, gets along well with others, and a servant heart.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Improve knowledge of marketing and social media in the Non Profit sector. Learn multitasking projects between a variety of programs. Improve technical skills of photography and videography, and expand horizons of living in the Waco community.

Hourly Rate: $11-$12.50/hour (depending on new or returning student worker status and/or any recognized special skill level)
