The Innovation & Industry Partnerships team is enhancing its capabilities in partner engagement and ecosystem development through better use of data. This project focuses on building a data-driven partnerships database and visualisation platform to provide clear insights into industry collaborations, enabling more effective engagement planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

1. Requirements Gathering & Research

• Work with the partnerships team to identify and prioritise key metrics and data parameters (e.g., company type, technology focus, presence, engagement levels)
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for dashboards, filters, and reporting outputs

2. Data Collection & Preparation

• Review and audit the existing database for data quality issues (e.g., duplicates, missing data, inconsistencies)
• Clean, standardise, and organise datasets using structured formats and controlled vocabularies
• Support data enrichment efforts to improve completeness and usability

3. Analytics & Dashboard Development

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualisations (charts, tables, diagrams)
• Implement features such as filters, drill-downs, and export functions
• Prepare report templates and dashboard outputs for user adoption

4. Insights & Reporting

• Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in partnership engagement
• Produce insight summaries and visual reports to support decision-making
• Create presentation materials to communicate key findings and recommendations

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Validation

• Facilitate feedback and usability sessions with internal stakeholders
• Gather and track enhancement requests and improvements
• Support ongoing engagement activities and data-driven discussions
  
  

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline
• Possess basic data analysis and visualisation skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI and other relevant tools is a plus)
• Comfort with data cleaning and standardisation techniques
• Familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus
• Good communication and stakeholder-engagement skills for conducting feedback sessions; Comfortable in engagement.
• Ability to write clear documentation and produce concise insight summaries
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
