About The Company
Mission & Vision DTU Nanolab is the National Centre for Nanofabrication and Characterization in Denmark. The center is an open access research infrastructure facility owned by and located at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The 100 staff members include engineers, technicians as well as professors and Ph.D. students. Open Access Pending proper training and instructions DTU Nanolab is open to all academic and commercial entities either through partnership or on a pay per use basis. We operate and maintain advanced processing equipment within 1350 m2 cleanroom facilities. Our suite of 9 advanced electron microscopes allows in-situ study of chemical reactions with atomic resolution as well as characterization of composition and nanocrystalline structure of materials. Broad Network Our customer base reaches from small start-up to multinational companies. We host users and collaborate with most of the Danish and a number of foreign universities. Concerning operation of the facility, user safety, tool access and booking systems as well as user training we have close exchange of best practice with our colleagues in the Nordic Countries (NTNU, Chalmers, ALTO,KTH) as well as other universities facilities such as MIT, Stanford, Tyndall Labs, University of Twente and the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF).
About the Role

We are looking for 2 Student Assistants to support the planning, coordination, development, and execution of DTU Innovation in Engineering course. The positions combine course administration, stakeholder coordination, digital learning platforms, process improvement, and technology-enabled solutions that help us deliver high-quality learning experiences for students and partners.

Job
We are looking for students who are structured, proactive, and motivated to coordinate and develop the course. You will become part of a small team that ensures our courses, events, and educational operations run smoothly throughout the year.

The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute both operationally and strategically. Depending on your interests and competencies, you may work across course operations, digital learning systems, data management, automation, and AI-supported solutions.

Course Operations, Digital Learning, and Process Improvement
You will support the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of DTU Entrepreneurship’s educational activities and digital systems.

Tasks include:

  • Coordinating course logistics, schedules, materials, and stakeholder communication
  • Managing Learn, Miro, and other digital learning platforms
  • Supporting teaching staff, TAs, guest speakers, and Challenge Partners
  • Maintaining course content, resources, templates, and administrative workflows
  • Processing and visualising data, improving processes, and developing automation solutions
  • Supporting AI, software, and digitalisation initiatives
  • Contributing to quality assurance, evaluations, and continuous course development

Our expectations of you
You are currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's programme and have a strong interest in combining operational coordination with digital tools and technology in an iterative process.

We expect that you:

  • Work in a structured and detail-oriented manner,
  • Take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion,
  • Enjoy solving practical challenges,
  • Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment while being able to work independently

It is an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following:

  • Learn, Miro, Teams, or similar digital learning platforms
  • Excel, data processing, and visualisation
  • Automation tools and workflow creation
  • Programming or software development
  • AI tools and applications
  • Project coordination and administration
  • Stakeholder management and communication

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State).

Working hours are on average 12-15 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. 

Starting date is 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible. The employment runs as long as you are an active student.

The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
