About the Role

Job Description

Location: Saudi Arabia
Function: Technical Scientific Office / External Affairs
Program Type: Undergraduate Summer Training Program
Reporting To: Technical Scientific Office Lead / External Affairs Director
Duration: As per the approved summer training program

Role Purpose

The Summer Trainee will support the Technical Scientific Office and External Affairs functions through administrative, operational, and coordination activities. This role is intended to provide undergraduate students with practical exposure to a professional healthcare/pharmaceutical environment, while contributing to scientific support activities, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Technical Scientific Office and External Affairs teams.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, meeting materials, and internal documentation.
  • Maintain trackers, records, timelines, and project files to support follow-up and execution.
  • Support the organization of internal meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and action tracking.
  • Assist with coordination of stakeholder-related activities, meetings, and event logistics, as required.
  • Conduct basic research and information gathering on topics relevant to healthcare, scientific affairs, public affairs, and business priorities.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in accordance with company policies, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Pharmacy,
  • Eligible to undertake an undergraduate summer training program in Saudi Arabia.
  • Demonstrated interest in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry and corporate functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a professional environment.
