Position Summary

The Advancement Office at the UNM School of Law is seeking a marketing and communications student who is conscientious, self-motivated, and professional to assist with marketing and communications for the school.
The student will assist with writing; including composing content for social media posts, drafting articles and content for the website, and composing content for mass communications. Other duties include graphic design, working on research projects, event coordination, and assisting with various activities coordinated by the Advancement department.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Work-study award preferred but not required. 

  • Graphic design experience including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. 

  • Experience with social media management platforms. 

  • Photography experience is preferred but not required. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and extensive experience with web-based research. 

  • Excellent writing skills. 

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of records and information. 

  • Strong attention to detail.
