Job summary:

Acrisure is seeking a Data Quality Intern to support a large-scale initiative focused on improving the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of organizational data. This internship provides hands-on experience working with business-critical systems and datasets, giving you exposure to how data quality directly impacts operations, reporting, and decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will review, validate, and update records across multiple systems while helping resolve duplicate, incomplete, or outdated information. You will partner with internal teams to clarify data discrepancies and contribute to structured data cleanup efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented student or early-career professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and learning how enterprise systems function behind the scenes.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to build foundational skills in data management, business operations, or analytics. You’ll gain practical experience with real-world datasets while developing habits around accuracy, consistency, and documentation that are critical to any data-driven career path.

Responsibilities:

• Review, update, and maintain records across designated systems and databases
• Perform data entry, correction, and validation activities to improve overall data integrity
• Identify and resolve duplicate, outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate records
• Validate information for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple data sources
• Work through assigned data cleanup backlogs within defined timelines and quality expectations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify discrepancies and obtain missing information
• Document data cleanup activities and track progress against project goals
• Follow established data management procedures, standards, and best practices
• Assist with reporting or tracking metrics related to data quality initiatives
• Support additional administrative or operational tasks related to data quality projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when working with data
• Ability to review information critically and identify inconsistencies or errors
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel or similar tools
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks or assignments
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with structured data and repetitive processes while maintaining quality
• Ability to collaborate with team members and ask questions when clarification is needed
• Interest in data management, business operations, analytics, or related fields beneficial
• Previous administrative, data entry, or office experience helpful but not required

Education and licenses:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
