About the Role

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with the analytics team to help collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive business decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support the team in creating predictive models and statistical analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all processes.
  • Document analysis processes, methodologies, and results for reference.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks
  • Understanding of database management systems
