About the Role

Description

  

Balanced Body is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Intern to support the Human Resources team for up to 2-months. This internship provides hands-on experience across a variety of HR functions including employee engagement, records management, and event coordination. The intern will collaborate with multiple departments and gain valuable real-world skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. 


Key Responsibilities 

The HR Intern will support the following ongoing and project-based activities: 

  • Employee Engagement & Recognition

· Assist in updating and maintaining the BB Photo Wall to reflect current team members 

· Participate in and support Fresh Team activities and other company events as scheduled 

  • HR Records & File Management
    • File active & terminated employee records under the supervision of HR staff 
    • Scan and digitize termination file boxes in coordination with HR team members 
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining the HR storage room
    • Support preparation and assembly of new hire onboarding packets 

Requirements

 Qualifications 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Learn to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Assembling onboarding packets with attention to completeness and accuracy

Work Schedule

This position is onsite and part-time, 3-days per week, Monday to Friday.
