We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused intern to join our Client Services NL Team within Wholesale Banking Client Services.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced international environment, where you will learn how ING supports large corporate clients in their day-to-day banking activities and delivers exceptional client service across multiple products and countries.

You will be supporting the Wholesale Banking Client Services (WB CS) organization and working alongside experienced Client Services Specialists who act as a trusted point of contact for ING's corporate clients. You will gain valuable insight into how client requests are managed, coordinated, and resolved while ensuring a seamless client experience.

Our Client Services teams play a key role in building long-term client relationships by combining operational excellence with a strong customer focus. Through this internship, you will experience how international banking operations work behind the scenes and how we help clients navigate their daily banking needs.

What will you do?

As part of the Client Services NL Team, you will support the delivery of high-quality service to ING's Wholesale Banking clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the handling of client requests and inquiries
  • Monitoring work queues and helping to ensure timely processing
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders across different departments
  • Assisting with client onboarding, maintenance, and servicing activities
  • Performing quality checks and maintaining accurate client records
  • Supporting process improvement and simplification initiatives
  • Helping identify opportunities to enhance the client experience
  • Contributing to timely and high-quality service delivery

What are we looking for?

  • Interest in banking, client services, operations, or a corporate environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to help others
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Good communication skills in English (B2+)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Availability to work 2–3 days per week (approximately 20 hours) from our Bratislava office
