About the Role

What is a VIE?

It’s an international graduate program for European citizens having graduated from a University School. This is an initiative created, designed, and supported by the French Government primarily to provide professional international work experience for European citizens aged between 18-28 recently graduated from University or Business School.

To apply for this V.I.E assignment you need to fulfil the following criteria:

  • International Graduates (European citizens) between 18 - 28 yo with an average of 12 months of professional experience
  • Higher education level (master’s degree)
  • Fluent in English
  • International profile (work experience or studies abroad)
  • Eager to continue your career abroad

This is a V.I.E position based in Stockholm, Sweden and lasts for 12 months with possibility for extension of another 12 months. The position is not open to applicants already based in Stockholm, Sweden. ABOUT THE ROLE

This role exists to support and strengthen The Absolut Company's Compensation & Benefits capabilities through HR controlling, payroll coordination, and HR administration activities.

The main mission is to support the HR Compensation & Benefits team in delivering accurate reporting, administrative excellence, and data-driven insights that enable effective decision-making and smooth HR operations.

This role will start on the 1st of October 2026, and will report to our Head of C&B and People Analytics.

Key responsibilities:

1. Controlling

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts after salary payments (Baltics/Denmark)
  • Payroll related bookings and Accruals
  • Support HR Controlling in SAP transition (Leap), closing and ad-hoc various requests and projects (GSR reports etc)
  • Financial support to HR team (training costs, mobility etc.), including setup of process for managing HR cost (takeover from Finance)
  • Manage the consultant/temp worker budget (actuals, reporting, invoice approval, forecast), including Purchase Orders and Good Receipt Management

3.2 Payroll provider interface

  • Collect HR data, variable input, new hires, terminations, absence etc. Validate and upload to providers
  • Validation, vacation reconciliation and approval
  • Reconcile against prior months for reasonableness, monthly summary and approval
  • Payment information for salary payment
  • Prepare journals and upload posting files in Bcentral or upload posting files to Teams
  • Payroll Taxes - payment request uploaded to BCentral or Navision

3.3 HR Administration

  • Responsibility for tracking and managing Contracted staff in Workday, including structure and management of contracted staff life cycle, tracking start date and end dates and follow up on how long consultants have been contracted (24 month rule).
  • Responsible for Offboarding process and exit checklists
  • Monthly reporting of new hires and leavers
  • HR Data Steward responsibility in Workday – monthly controls of Data Quality in HRIS system
  • Collect HR data, variable input, new hires, terminations, absence etc. Validate and upload to providers

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, HR, or a related field.
  • Previous experience through internships in Finance and/or HR is considered a plus.
  • Have a strong interest in financial analysis, reporting, and HR data management.
  • Feel comfortable working in a digital and data-driven environment, ideally with tools such as Workday and Excel.
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment and are eager to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Are fluent in English.
