About the Role

[What the role is]

The intern will provide administrative support for events, counter duties and residents engagement for Kampong Glam Constituency Office.

[What you will be working on]

  • Providing administrative, logistical support, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, volunteers, to formulate and execute community programmes and events (e.g. Dialogues, CNY/ND celebrations, festivals, EMA, etc)
  • Supporting house-visits and ad-hoc distribution exercises  
  • Triaging feedback from residents/house visits to the relevant agencies to follow-through
  • Providing perspectives on how to deliver national policy priorities to different targeted audiences and support last mile delivery
  • Assessing the needs of the community through data-driven approaches and initiate innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness of programmes
  • Producing timely and engaging digital content for CC to enhance online presence and outreach.
  • Required to work on weekends and evenings as the job requires.

[What we are looking for]

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
