Working Student – AI Taskforce & COO Office Support  

About the Role

Support the COO Office in driving a cross-functional AI Taskforce by helping sprint teams accelerate AI use case validation, prototyping, testing, and implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative initiatives across the organization.

In addition, you will support selected COO Office activities, including reporting, presentations, research, and strategic projects. The role is initially offered as a 12-month Working Student contract, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI innovation, business transformation, and executive-level projects within a dynamic international environment.

This position is based in Munich.

What you do

  • Support and actively contribute to AI taskforce sprint teams by structuring use cases, building and testing prototypes, and tracking progress 

  • Translate business use cases into functional AI solutions and validate feasibility through hands-on testing and iteration 

  • Contribute own ideas for AI use cases and suitable tools to help accelerate sprint activities across teams 

  • Support the transition of validated use cases towards wider implementation 

  • Monitor relevant AI trends and competitor developments in the renewables industry and translate findings into concrete recommendations  

  • Provide support on AI related questions in the COO area 

  • Provide flexible support on further COO Office topics (e.g. presentations, research, reporting)  

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Strong interest in AI and its application in business environments, together with initial hands-on experience gained through internships, working student roles, research, or university projects.

  • Practical experience with AI tools and technologies, including exposure to building or testing AI solutions, automations, chatbots, or data-driven applications.

  • Basic Programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) and familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including APIs, Azure services, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Databricks, etc.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple topics simultaneously.

  • Currently enrolled in a master's program, ideally in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
