About the Role

If you are in your second or third year of study at the university studying civil engineering or civil engineering technology with an interest in geotechnical engineering, then we want you to apply for an internship with Stantec. This is the perfect opportunity to work across an exciting and broad range of projects!

Scope of work 

  • Working alongside other junior, intermediate and senior geotechnical staff.
  • Assisting with site inspections, field investigations and construction supervision.
  • Producing ground models and geotechnical reports.
  • Assisting with Civil and Geotechnical design and analysis.

Who can apply 

To be eligible to apply you must: 

  • Be in your second or third year of study 
  • Preferably have a full clean current driving licence 
  • Studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
  • Able to commence work from 23rd November 2026 to 12th February 2027
