About the Role

Art Studio Aide, SC1ARTSTDART (FA26)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of art studios.

  • Perform a variety of cleaning and non-specialized maintenance duties.
  •  
  • Assist in the operation and organization of the art studios, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and design.
  •  
  • Responsibilities include: Cleaning, mopping, organization of tools and supplies, and additional maintenance duties within the art program as needed.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • COD Student who has taken one or more studio art courses required.
      • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
      • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.

        Working Conditions:

      • Must be able to lift 40 pounds routinely, with occasional overhead lifting.
      • Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
      • Must be able to be organized and dependable.
      • This student position does not require pre-employment testing.
      • Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
