Inviting Applications for the role of AI Engineer Intern– GigaAcademy Kosovo Program

This full-time, intensive track is designed for individuals ready to work at the frontier of Artificial Intelligence and enterprise innovation.

Participants will build a strong base in traditional AI/ML and deep learning, then advance into GenAI, LLM applications, and production-ready agentic systems aligned with real-world enterprise use cases. The program operates in a structured, high-performance environment that mirrors global engineering standards.

This track is ideal for aspiring engineers who want hands-on experience building scalable AI systems and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Build strong AI foundations using Python, including NumPy and Pandas
• Learn and apply SQL for data extraction, preparation, and analysis to support ML/LLM workflows
• Strengthen ML/DL fundamentals, including neural networks, model training, optimization, and evaluation
• Develop and train models using frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Build LLM applications using LangChain and LangGraph, including RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, and agent/workflow orchestration
• Work with embeddings and vector databases, and integrate LLMs into API-based services with monitoring and guardrails
• Apply learning through hands-on exercises, simulations, and enterprise-inspired projects
• Collaborate within structured team environments aligned with enterprise engineering standards
• Participate in daily technical sessions, labs, and performance assessments

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Third-year university student or above, recent graduate, or professional transitioning into technology
• Foundational knowledge of:
• Python programming
• Basic machine learning concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High motivation to learn AI, cloud technologies, and engineering principles
• Full-time availability for the 4-month intensive program
• Ability to participate in daily training sessions and assessments
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)

Bonus Points/Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Familiarity with Machine Learning or Deep Learning models
• Basic understanding of LLMs and generative AI
• Exposure to RAG pipelines or vector databases
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
• Participation in AI-related projects, hackathons, or internships
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
