About The Company

About the Role

Your Role

Are you passionate about data, technology, and machine learning? Join our team as a Working Student and get hands-on experience with real-world transaction data, machine learning models, and innovative tools - all while supporting exciting projects in a fast-moving environment. 

What You'll Be Doing
  • Look at data and try to make sense of it; analyze transactions to identify patterns that we can use to improve our categorization engine
  • Work with Python/SQL to query, analyze and explore transaction data 
  • Test out new technologies and tools to boost performance and uncover new insights 
  • Build automation tools and features that make the team more efficient 
  • Review data and suggest concrete improvements for different markets and use cases 
  • Contribute to quarterly projects – from engine performance to developing new solutions
  • Collaborate closely with your teammates and stakeholders across the company 
  • Document your work clearly so it can be reused and improved 

What You Bring

  • Enrolled as a student at a German university for at least the next 12 months with availability of up to 20 hours per week.
  • A proactive, can-do mindset and eagerness to take initiative 
  • Structured, detail-oriented way of working and strong teamwork skills 
  • Fluency in English, intermediate German skills minimum (other European languages are a plus) 
  • Tech-savviness and curiosity to pick up new tools and topics quickly 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to tackle new challenges
