About the Role

Working at TAUROS Capital means sharing a common goal and working as a team to address the financing challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses with innovative investment solutions.

TAUROS Capital is an investment company within the ERSTE Group ecosystem, providing growth capital through an alternative financing model based on revenue participation, commonly known as Revenue-Based Financing. With this approach, TAUROS Capital expands the range of venture capital and growth financing solutions available to ambitious companies.

Following twenty-two successfully completed Revenue-Based Financing transactions through TAUROS Capital I, last year we launched our second investment vehicle, TAUROS Capital II. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Investment Team in Vienna.

Your Responsibilities

As part of our Investment Team, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full investment process, from sourcing and initial analysis to portfolio monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing investment opportunities: Conducting market research, identifying potential target companies, and maintaining our CRM system, with a strong focus on data processing, data quality, and structured pipeline management.
  • Evaluating investment opportunities: Supporting the initial assessment of potential investments by analyzing business plans, financial statements, company presentations, and other relevant materials.
  • Supporting the preparation of indicative offers: Assisting in the preparation of non-binding offer documents outlining key investment terms and transaction parameters.
  • Portfolio monitoring: Tracking the performance of portfolio companies, analyzing relevant KPIs, and supporting ongoing reporting and monitoring activities.

Your Profile

  • You are currently enrolled in either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • You have an understanding of financial analysis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • You bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured working style.
  • You are interested in corporate finance, private markets, venture capital, growth financing, or alternative financing solutions.
  • You are confident working with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM systems or financial databases is a plus.
  • You have an interest in AI-assisted process automation and enjoy exploring new tools.
  • You are fluent in both English and German.

What We Offer

  • A part-time working student position starting from 10 hours per week.
  • An initial fixed-term contract of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible working hours and home office by arrangement.
  • A modern workplace at Erste Campus in Vienna, including a meal allowance for the canteen.
  • Direct exposure to experienced investment professionals and a growing alternative financing platform.
  • The opportunity to gain practical insights into Revenue-Based Financing, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and the broader corporate finance ecosystem.
