OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION:

We are looking for an intern for our high-tech department. The internship will focus on evaluating state-of-the-art computer vision approaches and developing a demonstrator adapted to the InfraScanner solution.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION:

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assess and benchmark 3D reconstruction solutions from images, including Gaussian Splatting, photogrammetry and related computer vision approaches.
  • Define the theoretical framework and mathematical approach for the use of photogrammetry within the InfraScanner solution.
  • Design and implement a test-bench solution for 3D reconstruction using images extracted from the vision system installed on a train.
  • Analyze reconstruction accuracy, robustness and processing performance.
  • Develop algorithms, workflows and validation procedures for the proposed solution.
  • Document results and provide recommendations for industrial deployment.

 PROFILE:

  • Educational level: Master's degree (Bac+5 / MSc) in Computer Vision, Robotics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.
  • Technical skills: computer vision, image processing, photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction, mathematical modelling, programming (Python/C++), system development.
  • Areas of interest: computer vision, mathematical modelling, system development.
  • Behavioral skills: analytical mindset, autonomy, innovation, teamwork.
  • Contract: 6 months internship.  from sept26 to feb27
