About the Role

Job Duties:
•    Answer telephone and walk-in inquiries utilizing strong phone etiquette and good excellent customer service skills.
•    Assist with office work, which may include data entry, filing, copying, organizing, and other clerical assignments.
•    Help deliver employee mail to various departments.
•    Assist with any other errands or general clerical work that pertains to the job.
•    Edit forms with Microsoft Word and Excel.
•    Interact professionally with staff and administrators of the agency.
•    Exhibit a friendly, professional manner in all communications at all times.
•    Projects a strong, service-oriented attitude toward all consumers, clients, visitors and staff.
•    Dependable, maintaining regular weekly schedule.
•    Adheres to all safety standards, policies and procedures.
•    Abides by all CMI Healthcare Services rules and regulations; understands and follow the confidentiality policy.
•    Strives to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
•    All other duties assigned by the department manager.
•    Reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment to the supervisor.

Qualifications:
•    Prior experience or training in a medical or mental health setting.
•    Must adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies and regulations.
•    Knowledge of the mission and vision of CMI Healthcare Services.
•    Ability to multi-task, prioritize, closely follow directions, and work efficiently.
•    Must be able to use Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word and Excel).
•    Comfortable with people from all cultures and lifestyles.
•    Able to tolerate emotional people and deal with various behaviors/personalities for people of all ages without getting upset.
•    Flexible personality.
•    Able to function independently within the limits of the position.
•    Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
•    Able to be on feet a great deal and walk long distances.
