In the appointment of CGPS Governance Intern, your general duties and responsibilities will be: Your general location of work will be in the CGPS offices of USask’s Saskatoon Campus, and you will report to the Academic Affairs and Governance Specialist. Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail are also considered an asset. Where a graduate student is appointed to this position, it will be in-scope of PSAC.
Required Number of Hours: 10 hours per week
Duration of Employment: September 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027 with the possibility of extension.
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
This internship is open to all current USask graduate students. A student pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on higher education, policy studies, or governance processes would be ideally suited. Previous involvement in academic governance or related administrative roles is considered an asset.
